CHILDREN’S STORY BOOK & GLOVE PUPPET
The overall value of children’s story books, sold by retail outlets and news agencies, could be substantially raised by including one of these individually-handcrafted glove puppets as part of the purchase!

A custom-made single or double-sided glove puppet

is manufactured to portray one or two special characters in the book - which the story reader uses to animate the tale. It is important that our children be encouraged to love books and reading. Children respond well to TV because they generally listen more attentively when they can ‘hear’ and ‘see’ a story - the same effect can be gained with the glove puppet - but with several added benefits - the puppet can be touched, played with, and the ‘story’ can be repeated over and over again.
DESCRIPTION
Each puppet measures 24,5 cm x 20,5 cm (large enough to fit a child’s hand or small to medium size adult hand). The puppet is made from either plain, shaggy or fancy felt, trimmings in an assortment of materials, including lace, wool and silk embroidery yarns. Details are machine-appliquéd, hand-embroidered, machine- and hand-quilted. The puppet is machine washable, line dried and colourfast. Child safe: Each puppet is child safe - NO buttons or beads that can be broken off and swallowed!
